The National Examination Board has published the results of the Grade 12 examinations. This year, only 61.17 percent of the students who appeared for the exams have passed.

According to Mahashram Sharma, Chairperson of the Board, a total of 396,347 students participated as regular examinees. Additionally, the number of partial examinees reached 114,640.

Combining both groups, the total number of examinees stood at 510,987, according to the Board.

Following the announcement of the results, students and guardians across the country have expressed mixed reactions. While some stated that the results met their expectations, others called for a review of the evaluation system.

As in previous years, the results were based on a letter grading system using GPA (Grade Point Average) with segmented marks.
