Among the main features of the Orbiter are the industry-first claimed 14-inch front wheel, hill hold assist, cruise control, and parking assist. The company claims that the large wheel helps provide stability, grip, and easy control on urban roads.

The scooter has 34-liter under-seat storage capacity, which can accommodate two helmets, according to the company. Likewise, the 845-millimeter-long flat-form seat, 290-millimeter straight footboard, and 169-millimeter ground clearance provide comfort to both the rider and the pillion passenger, the company said.

The TVS Orbiter features a connected mobile app, a color LCD digital cluster displaying call and message notifications, an LED headlight with visor at the front, edge-to-edge front light, USB charging, and OTA updates.

In terms of safety, the scooter includes features that provide alerts related to accidents, scooter falls, theft, geofencing, and time fencing. The company said that the battery charge status and odometer can be checked through the mobile app. The scooter also has two riding modes, Eco and City, along with regenerative braking.

At the launch event, Ramnarayan Sah, Managing Director of New Janaki Auto Enterprises, Bardibas, and Arjun Khanal, Regional Manager of Jagdamba Motors, jointly launched the TVS Orbiter.

On the occasion, Managing Director Sah said that they were excited to launch the TVS Orbiter in Bardibas, adding that following the success of TVS iQube, they believed the Orbiter would further strengthen the company’s presence in Nepal’s electric two-wheeler market.

Jagdamba Motors Regional Manager Khanal said that the Orbiter was developed by keeping in mind the needs of Nepali consumers and the diverse road and geographical conditions of Nepal. According to him, attractive design, modern technology, comfort, utility, and energy efficiency have been integrated into the scooter.

The TVS Orbiter will be available in three colors: Neon Sunburst, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.

According to the company, an advanced aerodynamic design has been used in the Orbiter, which helps improve energy efficiency and stability. The company claims that its strong body, sufficient ground clearance, and connected safety features make it suitable for Nepali roads as well.

It has been stated that customers will receive after-sales service through Jagdamba Motors’ nationwide sales and service network. TVS Motor Company has positioned the Orbiter as an important product in the Nepali market as part of its expansion of electric mobility.
