Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, is scheduled to visit Bohore Danda in ward no. 15 of Lalbandi Municipality, Sarlahi, this coming Saturday.

Nepal’s visit is to attend the inauguration ceremony of the province-level “Pushpalal Memorial Building” in Madhesh Province. According to district party chairman Surendra Lama, the building is a well-equipped structure with a spacious assembly hall, which is expected to serve as a multi-purpose center for political and social events in the future.

Chairman Nepal is set to attend the ceremony as the chief guest. Preparations for the inauguration have intensified in anticipation of his presence.

A few years ago, a statue of Pushpalal Shrestha, the pioneer of Nepal’s communist movement, was unveiled at the same Bohore Danda with Nepal himself as the chief guest. Now, the completion of the memorial building at the same location is being marked with this formal inauguration.

The CPN (Unified Socialist) has also announced plans to use the building as a center for preserving the party’s ideology, memories, and activities.
