A shocking scene unfolded in Tekan Tole of Chandrapur Municipality–4, Rautahat, on Monday morning. Around 6:30 AM, local residents discovered the lifeless body of a man, estimated to be around 40 years old, lying abandoned in a corner of the neighborhood. Authorities were immediately alerted.

A police team from the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur, reached the site and documented the incident. According to DSP Deepak Kumar Raya, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Rautahat, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. “No documents were found on the body that could help identify him,” he said.

Initial police investigations suggest that the man may have arrived at the location a few days prior. Based on the condition of the body, it appears he had been dead for some time. Due to the mysterious nature of the incident, a detailed investigation has been launched.

The incident has left the local community shaken. “Our neighborhood has always been peaceful. This is the first time we’ve witnessed something like this,” a local resident remarked.

The body has been sent to Gaur District Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police have appealed to the general public for assistance in identifying the deceased.
