Police have arrested seven individuals for gambling in Bardibas.

A team from the Bardibas Area Police Office raided the house of local resident Krishna Bahadur Tamang in Bardibas-5 on Thursday afternoon and detained the gamblers. Among those arrested is 21-year-old Bhagwan Babu Sah from Mirchaiya Municipality-4, Siraha, along with six others.

According to the police, cash amounting to NPR 236,575 and three decks of playing cards were seized from the scene. The arrested individuals are currently being held at the Bardibas Area Police Office for further investigation, police said.
