In a special program organized in Kushmaha, Ward No. 9 of Sabaila Municipality, Dhanusha, on the occasion of Deepawali and Chhath festivals, youths associated with the Gen-Z Movement formally joined the Aam Janata Party (Aajpa) on Friday.

The chief guest of the event, Aajpa Chairperson and former minister Prabhu Sah, welcomed the new entrants by providing them with party membership and urged them to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation and the people.

“It’s now time to institutionalize the energy of the movement,” he said. “The Gen-Z youths who raised the slogan of transforming the nation must now turn that revolutionary spirit into tangible public service outcomes.”

Chairperson Sah also criticized the former government for its failures, stating that the government led by Sushila Karki could not meet the expectations of the people and failed to take action against those responsible for the killings and corruption during the Gen-Z movement.

“If the current government also fails to punish those criminals,” he warned, “it has no moral right to remain in power even for a minute. The people’s uprising was not just for a change in leadership, but for justice and transformation.”

On this occasion, active Gen-Z youths such as Aakash Mishra, Dipesh Kumar Sah, Shailo Kumari Sah, Aasha Kumari Mandal, and Chanda Kumari Mandal, among others, formally joined the Aajpa.

Providing details about the program, Aajpa Secretariat member Subhash Sah said, “The Gen-Z generation will now align with Aajpa’s principles and join the campaign for systemic reform. This entry marks a historic step in transforming youthful energy into institutional politics.”

The event saw notable participation from local intellectuals, women’s groups, and youths from various sectors.
