Electricity supply across Sarlahi district will be cut off for four hours on Saturday morning. The Nepal Electricity Authority has announced that a line shutdown will be carried out to install a capacitor bank and perform maintenance work at the Nawalpur Grid Substation.
According to the notice issued by the Authority, electricity supply will be disrupted from 5:30 AM to around 9:30 AM on Bhadra 14 (Saturday).
Since the Nawalpur Grid Substation is the main source of power supply for Sarlahi district, the outage will affect all areas under the Lalbandi, Barahathwa, and Malangwa distribution centers during this period.
According to Lalbandi Distribution Center Chief, Tribhuwan Yadav, consumers will not receive electricity service during the specified hours due to the required technical work.
