Sushil Sah, a ward member of Aurahi Municipality–1 in Mahottari district, has been appointed as the Acting Ward Chairperson. This responsibility was assigned to him through a municipal chief–level decision made on the 26th of Saun.

According to Section 116 of the Local Government Operation Act, 2017, in the event of the death of a ward chairperson, a member from the same ward can be appointed as acting chairperson. Based on this provision, following the demise of the late Ward Chairperson Yogi Chaudhary, Sah has been entrusted with carrying out all the duties of the position until further notice.

As per the prevailing laws of the municipality, Sah has been requested to carry out the necessary functions as the Acting Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 1.
