Bardibas Municipality in Mahottari has decided to grant a substantial waiver on fines imposed for business renewals to registered business owners in its jurisdiction. According to the municipality’s Financial Act 2082, a 75 percent waiver on fines for business renewal will now be provided.

According to a notice issued by the Revenue Administration Branch of the municipality, business owners who missed renewing their businesses in previous years for various reasons will receive a 75 percent waiver on fines if they complete the renewal process by the end of Ashoj month this year.

This decision is expected to encourage business owners to renew their businesses and improve revenue collection for the municipality. The municipality has requested business owners to complete the renewal process within the appropriate timeframe.

The Revenue Administration Branch of Bardibas Municipality stated, “To avail of this waiver, business owners should renew their businesses as soon as possible to receive relief on taxes and fines.”
