Senior leader of CPN-UML and former Deputy Prime Minister, Raghubir Mahaseth, visited Kshireshwarnath Municipality in Dhanusha district on Monday to directly observe the progress of various under-construction infrastructures. Accompanied by Mayor Sukhdev Yadav, UML Municipal Chair Anil Chaudhary, and other officials, Mahaseth conducted an on-site inspection of several development projects in the area.

During the visit, Mahaseth inspected the construction site of a community hall at Sakhua Bazaar and the building of Durga Tulsi Rapti Primary School located in Ward No. 7, Durgatole. He closely examined the current status, quality, and transparency of the ongoing works. In his remarks, he instructed the contractor company to complete the projects within the stipulated timeframe, adhering strictly to quality standards while keeping the public interest at the core.

Mahaseth also observed the blacktopping progress of the road from Sakhua Bazaar to Dudhmati Chowk. Emphasizing that the road is expected to ease local transportation and boost overall economic activities in the region, he cautioned against any form of negligence in construction quality. “This road is crucial for ensuring easy access to key service centers like markets, schools, and health institutions,” he said. “The project must move forward while strictly following both the standards and the timeline.”

UML Municipal Chair Anil Chaudhary, speaking after the inspection, stated, “The community hall and school buildings are not just physical structures—they are the foundation for the municipality’s educational, social, and political development.” He affirmed the municipality’s commitment to intensify monitoring efforts on all development fronts.

The inspection witnessed active participation from local representatives, UML leaders, and concerned community stakeholders.
