Bardibas
A tree plantation program was successfully conducted on Saturday at the Panikhola Ratmata Community Forest located in Bardibas Municipality–3, Mahottari.
The event was held under the chief guestship of Bardibas Mayor Prahlad Kumar Kshetri and special guest Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 3, Birat Kumar Bisht. The program saw the enthusiastic participation of local residents, Nepali Army personnel, representatives from various organizations, and local youth.

According to Rudra Thapa, Chairperson of the Community Forest, over 500 saplings of various species were planted within the forest area. He stated that the initiative aimed to conserve the local community forest and maintain ecological balance.
During the program, Mayor Kshetri emphasized the need for collective efforts in environmental conservation and pledged continued support from the municipality for such campaigns. Similarly, Ward Chairperson Bisht praised the active involvement of the locals in the conservation and proper utilization of the community forest.
The local participants also committed to the regular care and protection of the planted saplings. Concluding the program, the forest committee expressed gratitude to all participants and announced that similar programs would continue in the future.
