Regular access to drinking water has now been ensured at Siddheshwar Primary School, located in Deurali, ward no. 15 of Lalbandi Municipality in Sarlahi district.
The local Pariyar family has donated a water tap to the school in memory of their late parents. This generous support was made possible through the joint initiative of sons Chhatra Bahadur and Ramhari Pariyar, along with daughter-in-law Kamala Pariyar, in remembrance of Bhakta Bahadur Pariyar and Bachchimaya Pariyar.
A brief handover program was organized on Saturday morning within the school premises. During the event, the necessary materials for the tap installation and a dustbin were handed over to Principal Balram Karki and School Management Committee Chairperson Chandrabahadur Raya.
Former ward member of Lalbandi–15, Krishnaraj Thokar, social worker Bhim Bahadur Karki, and other community members were present at the handover ceremony.
It is believed that the installation of the tap will significantly improve access to drinking water and sanitation at the school. The supporting Pariyar family has also expressed their commitment to continue contributing to educational initiatives in the future.
The school administration, inspired by this act of social goodwill, expressed heartfelt gratitude and described the donation as exemplary.
