The National Cooperative Federation Limited, Nepal, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of its former president, Ramchandra Singh Kushwaha, and paid heartfelt tribute to the departed leader. A delegation led by the Federation’s President, Om Devi Malla, visited Kushwaha’s residence in Ward No. 12, Parhiya, Gaushala Municipality on Monday to offer condolences to the bereaved family.
Alongside President Malla, Federation member Sharda Dahal and other officials were present at the condolence program. The team laid a garland on the photograph of the late Kushwaha and recalled his significant contributions to the cooperative movement.
Remembering the late Kushwaha as a visionary, dedicated, and hardworking leader, President Malla said, “His demise has caused an irreparable loss to the cooperative movement. His contributions will always be remembered.” She also extended deep condolences to the grieving family and wished them strength and courage in this difficult time.
Ramchandra Singh Kushwaha, born on Kartik 22, 2015 B.S. (November 7, 1958), passed away on Asar 31, 2082 B.S. (July 15, 2025) at the age of 67. He had been actively involved in the cooperative movement for a long time and played a vital role as the President of the National Cooperative Federation.
In the official condolence message released by the Federation, it is stated:
“With the untimely demise of Mr. Kushwaha, the cooperative sector has lost an honest, visionary, and committed leader. We extend heartfelt condolences and wish strength to the family to endure this painful moment.”
The National Cooperative Federation has expressed its commitment to honor and uphold the contributions of the late Kushwaha with the utmost respect and gratitude.
