Following the mysterious death of a young man in a hotel in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha Police have made public a 24-year-old woman allegedly linked to the incident. The case has sparked both concern and fear in the local area.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Bimlesh Yadav (also known as Shani) of Mahottari Rural Municipality–1, Parsa. He was found dead on Sunday morning at the SP & Guest House hotel in Janakpurdham. During the initial investigation, it was revealed that he was accompanied by Juli Jha of Balwa Municipality–7, Banouta.

On Monday, the Dhanusha District Police Office held a press conference to present Jha and provide preliminary details of the case. According to police, Yadav and Jha entered the hotel together at 9:55 p.m. on Saturday night. However, nearly five hours later—at 2:57 a.m. Sunday—Yadav was seen falling from the first floor of the hotel, naked and covered in blood.

CCTV footage from the hotel shows Jha rushing downstairs just moments after Yadav’s fall and then leaving the hotel premises.

Yadav sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpurdham. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.

From the scene, police recovered blood-stained clothing, a sharp weapon (knife), and several other items. Investigators suspect that the incident may have been premeditated.

Jha was arrested on Sunday afternoon and remains in custody as further investigation is underway, according to the Dhanusha District Police Office.

Police have confirmed they are thoroughly investigating the nature of the incident, the background of the relationship between the individuals involved, and the possibility of the event being part of a planned act.
