Madhesh Province Head Sumitra Subedi Bhandari has officially endorsed two important bills passed by the Provincial Assembly.

In accordance with Article 201, Sub-Article 2 of the Constitution of Nepal, Province Head Subedi signed and certified the “Bill to Implement the Financial Proposal of the Madhesh Province Government” and the “Bill to Regulate the Allocation and Expenditure of Funds from the Provincial Consolidated Fund for Fiscal Year 2082/83.”

These bills were passed with the aim of providing a legal foundation for the implementation of the provincial government’s upcoming fiscal year budget and expenditure management.

With the certification from the Province Head, the bills have now been established as enforceable laws for the provincial government.

Provincial government officials have stated that following this certification, the budget-related processes will now formally move forward.
