Bardibas Municipality Mayor Prahlad Kumar Kshetri has described young men and women as the backbone of society and emphasized that they are the primary agents in building a beautiful and progressive community.
Speaking as the chief guest at the third general assembly of the social organization Yuwa Sanjal Bardibas (Youth Network Bardibas), Mayor Kshetri highlighted the need for children themselves to be aware in order to reduce child marriage.
He stated, “Without the active involvement of youth, the vision of an inclusive, safe, and just society cannot be realized. Especially in tackling issues like child labor, physical and mental abuse, and drug addiction, youth participation is indispensable.”
Other speakers at the event also shared their views on various topics, including mental and physical abuse of children, child labor, drug abuse, and the need for proportional participation of children in all aspects of society.
The newly elected president of the organization, Surinder Sah, shared that within a short span of time since its establishment, the organization has made significant contributions in areas such as education, sanitation, cultural preservation, and blood donation campaigns.
The general assembly also elected a new 11-member executive committee under the leadership of Surinder Sah. The newly appointed committee members are as follows:

Furthermore, the organization has announced plans to launch campaigns in the coming days focusing on child rights, women’s empowerment, youth leadership development, and environmental protection.
The assembly witnessed enthusiastic participation from various representatives, youth activists, elected officials, and social figures from within the municipality.
